WILL HUGGALOOPS FIT ME?

Yes!  Even if you are petite or plus-size.  Huggaloops come in 3 standard, adjustable sizes to fit just about everyone.  We also offer custom sizing upon request at no additional charge.

MY BABY IS SITTING TOO LOW IN THE CARRIER.  HOW DO I FIX THIS?

You need to adjust your carrier to fit more tightly.  Please visit our HOW-TO page

HOW TIGHTLY SHOULD MY HUGGALOOPS FIT?

When you first put on a new Huggaloops Carrier, it should be very snug.  This is to allow for the natural lengthening of the fabric as it breaks in with minimal use.  We recommend putting the carrier on (without your child in it) and stretching out the loops manually.  Once the carrier is broken in, the fabric will stop lengthening.

MY HUGGALOOPS FEELS TOO TIGHT! HOW CAN I FIX THIS?

If your sling feels too tight, make sure that when putting it on, there are no additonal twists in any of the loops.  If the fabric of any loop is twisted, it will tighten the sling.  If there are no twists and your sling still feels too tight, you may be need a larger size. Our slings come in 3 sizes to fit (almost) everyone.  We have a 30 day exchange policy and will gladly accommodate an exchange of size.

CAN I USE HUGGALOOPS TO CARRY IN DIFFERENT POSITIONS?

A Huggaloops allows you to carry baby in 4 ergonomically correct positions which are described in our HOW-TO and SAFETY sections.  We do not recommend carrying baby in a forward-facing manner as this is not supportive of baby’s back and hips.  Never use this carrier to carry a child on your back.

CAN MY PARTNER AND I SHARE A HUGGALOOPS?

Yes! Huggaloops Carriers can be adjusted to fit a smaller person, so it is possible for one carrier to fit two different wearers.  We recommend that if there is more than 5 inches or 40lbs difference between wearers that you order in two different sizes.

HOW CAN I TELL IF I HAVE MY SLING ON CORRECTLY?

You should have all three loops on, with the shoulder loops in an "X" across your chest and the tummy loop around your middle. Because the loops are already joined together, there isn't any concern in regards to your sling coming undone. It should be easy to pull the loops around baby, but should hold baby firmly to your body.  If your sling feels too loose, remove baby and adjust your sling.  Likewise, if your sling feels too tight, remove baby, correct any twisting that may be tightening your sling and try again.

CAN I BREASTFEED BABY IN A HUGGALOOPS?

Absolutely.  Just make sure you support baby while learning how to position for breastfeeding.  We recommend trying this while sitting for the first few times.  Always re-adjust baby’s position in the carrier after feeding.

CAN I CARRY MY TODDLER IN A HUGGALOOPS?

Yes! Toddlers love being carried in a Huggaloops!  It’s a great way to reconnect and soothe a toddler who may be tired or overstimulated and an easy way to transport little kids when they tire of walking.

CAN I CARRY MY NEWBORN IN A HUGGALOOPS?

Huggaloops are great for newborn babies!  Please consult your physician before using this or any carrier with babies smaller than 8lbs.

CAN I PRACTICE KANGAROO CARE IN A HUGGALOOPS?

Yes!  Huggaloops offers all the versatility of a wrap, including the ability to practice skin-to-skin or Kangaroo Care.
